About the Piece

Edgar is just an amazing human being.

Nobody is perfect. Everyone has a past. But he’s one of those people who, no matter what life throws at him, gets back up and keeps trying to do better.

He’s always had my back, and I hope I’ve done the same for him.

This piece actually started while I was in the hospital. I began writing a story to get my mind off everything that was happening and the pain. The story started as a simple motorcycle run between friends… and somehow spiraled into a world of zombie clowns, endless hamburger and taco jokes, and fighting off rabid ducks.

Out of that story came the characters.
Out of those characters came the artwork.

This piece is Edgar and his bike — part of that world, part of that story.

I also created a companion bust portrait of him.

But this one… this one is the ride.
