About the Piece

Trapper is one of those rare people in life. The kind you’re lucky to know.

He’s like a brother from another mother. The kind of guy with a heart bigger than his arms, and that’s saying something. If someone needs help, he’s the first one there. Doesn’t matter if you asked or not.

He grew up rough, so he’s always ready for life to get rough again. But it doesn’t have to be that way. Beneath the calloused hands and those fists that look like punching bags is someone who quietly looks out for the people around him.

He’s helped me more times than I can count. Picked me up from the hospital. Offered to help me move out of a bad living situation without hesitation. And he’s one of the few people I can call when I feel like I might be overreacting, just to get a straight answer.

Right now I can’t ride until July, but I gave him a Vulcan 1600 and I’m hoping that when I’m cleared, we can get both bikes running and do a long ride up and down the coast.

If that happens, we’ll have to bring Edgar and Seth along too.

And of course LunaButt riding shotgun in a sidecar with me. She’d probably think that was the greatest day of her life.
